Fiber optics substitute ADSL
For Digital Future | January 25, 2008
While we are surprised and we are enthralled by the speed record of ADSL 2 +, it's fiber optic technology was announced as of tomorrow and that promises much more than ADSL. 100 Mbits / s is what we can get with fiber optics, and not just downstream data also increases, leaving the ADSL 20 Mbits / s (theoretical) in ridicule.
The market requires more share pictures of digital cameras over the network, share videos, files growing size of the increase because of the quality required by users. But the interest of the optical fiber does not stop there. Yes, it is possible i watch television programs in high definition up to ADSL, but the quality is not always promised. The cuts are rife i images pixels are common. These limitations are due to split the ADSL connection with your phone, Internet and television. With fiber optics do not have these limitations because of the capacity of the line and the reliability of the connection, much higher than ADSL. Another interesting feature is that TV reception is not limited to a single channel on a single computer, various screens can play different TV channels without causing problems in reception quality.
In the next post, such as installing fiber optics.
