    DTT as a computer

    A group of experts from the Andalusian Center for Innovation and Information Technology and Communications (Citic), located in the Technological Park of Andalusia in Malaga, investigates the technological capacity of DTT to enable users to connect and act as a network of computers. The project, called the Study, Design and Implementation of a prototype system of DTT with a return channel for interactivity, is that users can send audio and video from your home, and interact as if they were Internet users . Among its capabilities, is consulting data from a bank account, vote in a contest for television or make Internet purchases, things that could be done through the remote control.

    The responsibility for this invertigación explained that the goal of this work is to provide the dimensions of the possibilities that this technology has to connect to its users. He also explained in the presentation of the project that, through this technique, it can operate almost comparable to those made from a computer. In this way, this technology communicates the user with a return channel that puts you in touch with who gives you an application that has requested, thus enabling a digital dialogue between the two.
