The Administration for Industry and Commerce of Shanghai has been analyzed 20 consignments of MP4 players and found that 75 percent of the devices emit high levels of electromagnetic radiation.
These rays can interfere with other equipment nearby and cause biological harm to people and animals exposed to them. The Chinese regulator also found that many of the players tested did not have the ability to have that say.
In Europe there are EU laws for these products meet some minimum quality, so it's important not to buy in shops of dubious quality and not buy this type of product while traveling in developing countries.
