    For Digital Future | August 25, 2008

Not only the neon lights shine on Broadway. "The Great White Way" has more light and more colorful this summer, since Toshiba installed a bright poster at the top of Times Square in New York City. The new screen is 880 "diagonal (22 meters!). It may seem large, but is not in widescreen but it is square! With this screen is immense.

Resolution 1280 by 1248, providing enough space to reproduce image at 720p (HD) with space above and below for additional information.

Toshiba's display uses "TECHNOVIRTUAL" technology that shares adjacent sub-pixels to create an appearance with better resolution. The pixels on the screen of Times Square are 1'27cm and LED technology, which consumes less power than other display options.

In this image you can see, is what is above.
