Pioneer and Matsushita team up to boost plasma displays

Pioneer and Matsushita Electric Corporation, known for its Panasonic products, have reached an agreement to establish a partnership to enhance and strengthen its activities in the field of plasma displays. The agreement mainly covers the area of R & D and production and strategic subministro plasma screens and modules. Pioneer and Matsushita currently commercially plasma TVs and high-performance quality through their respective brands Kuro and Viera. Both take advantage of the devices for plasma TVs with light emission from the same screen and their own video technologies.
